Millennium Force

Cedar Point

Millennium Force is an Intamin steel roller coaster located at Cedar Point amusement park in Sandusky, Ohio. When it was built in 2000, it broke 10 world records, including the tallest complete circuit coaster in the world. At 310 ft tall, it was the world's first Giga-coaster (300+ ft tall). Millennium Force also held the record at the time for fastest coaster with a top speed of 93 mph. It has been ranked #1 steel coaster in the world 8 times and has never been ranked lower than #2 since it opened. Millennium force does not go upside-down so its trains have a t-shaped lapbar to restrain riders, although it does feature 2 tunnels, 3 overbanked turns, and 4 hills.

Bizarro

Six Flags New England

Bizarro is an Intamin steel roller coaster located at Six Flags New England in Agawam, Massachusetts. Since the ride opened in 2000, two incidents have occured on the ride including one fatality. Bizarro features a 208 ft tall first lift hill with a 221 ft drop into a tunnel where it reaches a top speed of 77 mph. It has been ranked #1 steel coaster in the world 5 times and has only ranked below #2 once. Bizarro has constantly competed with Millennium Force due to their similar designs. Bizarro does not go upside-down and its trains have a lapbar with two metal bars on the sides to restrain riders. Since its re-theming in 2009, Bizarro has on-ride audio, mist tunnels, fire effects,and fogged "Bizarro S-shields."
